Taking a French experiential product into the UK
Wizito is a photobooth and event-technology company with five offices in France. I joined as it opened in London, which meant marketing a well-known French brand into a market where nobody had heard of it, against established UK competitors, with French-language brand assets and a French-market website.
I owned digital marketing for the UK entity for three years and four months: search visibility, paid acquisition, the English-language site, campaign content, and the launch communications for new product lines.
The part I am proudest of: the UK launch of the company's AI photobooth, a product that transformed guests into AI-generated characters on the spot. I wrote and ran the launch communications into the UK events and brand-activation market.
What I did
- Owned UK digital marketing end to end for three years
- Adapted French brand and campaign assets for a UK audience
- Ran search and paid acquisition for the London office
- Launched the AI photobooth into the UK activation market
- Produced campaign content across web and social
- Worked across a distributed French and UK team
Verifiable
- Role, dates and employer on LinkedIn
- Launch communications published under my name
- References available from the Wizito team
Context, honestly labelled
- Wizito UK holds 4.9/5 from 122 Trustpilot reviews
- 4.88/5 on Poptop and further reviews on Hitched
- These rate the service, not my marketing. I include them because the product I marketed was genuinely good, which matters, but they are not testimonials for me
