None of this is required. It just means the first reply can be substantive rather than a list of questions back at you.

- For a role: the team, and what the job actually involves
- For a project: what you are trying to build
- Anything on this site you disagreed with
That last one is not a joke. If you think one of my positions is wrong, that is a better opening than a pleasantry.

Through the form above or on LinkedIn, whichever you prefer, with as much or as little detail as you have. No automated sequence waiting to chase you afterwards.
I reply within two working days
Either with initial thoughts, or with the two or three questions I need answered before I can say anything useful. If I am at capacity, I will tell you rather than going quiet.
We talk properly
A call or a longer exchange, depending on what it is about. For a role that means the real questions rather than the polite ones; for a project it means whether I am actually the right person.
We both decide
Either it fits or it does not, and I will say so plainly rather than leaving it vague. A clear no early is worth more than a maybe that runs for weeks.
